Nutri-Cal

Nutri-Cal is an industry-standard, high-density caloric dietary supplement and a readily digestible source of vitamins and minerals in a palatable gel formulation.

For dogs and cats, Nutri-Cal is a great way of providing pets with an additional source of calories without a large increase in food take, and is particularly suited for pets recovering from stress, surgery or a debilitating disease. It also provides an additional source of energy for hunting and working dogs. The gel is easy to dispense and very palatable, and can also be used to stimulate your pet’s natural appetite.

Instructions for use:

When the animal's caloric or nutritional intake is to be supplemented, give 1.5 teaspoons per 10lbs of bodyweight daily. When animal is not consuming full feed ration, give 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) per 10lbs bodyweight daily.

Calorie Content: 4420 kcal/kg (26.5kcal/6g).

This is an excellent product: a high calorie nutritional supplement of vitamins and minerals for animals. It's a 'gel' in a squeezey tube, the colour of 'Bovril'/'Marmite' - animals adore the taste of 'Nutrical.' It is marketed for cats and dogs, but is excellent for smaller animals too.eg mice, rats and hamsters. There are times when a pet is feeling off colour, after an operation or nearing the end of their life, and are struggling to eat and drink: this product seems to stimulate the appetite and encourages the animal to eat and to survive.
