To treat kidney disease in cats and dogs.

Ipakitine is nutraceutical supplement comprised of Chitosan and Calcium Carbonate. The ingredients in Ipakitine act as phosphate binding agents and lower the absorption of phosphates from the intestines.

Thus, in respect of a phosphate restriction, they can mimic or enhance the effects of a phosphate restricted food. There is also a reduction in the absorption of some uraemic toxins that can affect normal kidney function.

Through this double action, Ipakitine supports normal kidney function.

When my vet (in the US) suggested this for my elderly cats I must admit I was very sceptical. However their creatine levels have decreased - indicating better kidney health, always a problem with old cats. so I have to admit that to my surprise it does work.

Delivery
