Please remember, Frontline Spot On is designed to treat the torso of your pet for fleas, but not the environmental area. Don't forget to add a household spray such as Frontline Homegard for complete flea protection.
Kills fleas. Kills ticks. Spot On!
Frontline is the most common flea treatment recommended by vets. They know Frontline Spot On kills parasites fast and goes on protecting your pet.
Frontline Spot On Cat works by both preventing flea and tick infestation and eliminating existing infestations, and is part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis in cats. Frontline for Cats is also effective against biting lice and it is effective against fleas for up to 5 weeks and ticks for up to 1 month. It also controls lice within 48 hours. Routine treatment is advised to prevent flea infestations.
Frontline Spot-On Cat can be used in kittens from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 1kg (2.2lbs), and under 6.6kg (14.5lbs).
How does Frontline Spot-On work?
Frontline Spot On acts directly on fleas, ticks and lice and not via your pet’s bloodstream. It kills fleas within 24 hours without the need for them to bite your pet.
The cat flea treatment is applied externally on the back of the neck, where the active ingredient, Fipronil, quickly dissolves into the natural oils on your pet’s skin and coat. Within 24 hours it disperses over the entire body surface and also concentrates in the skin's oil glands to form a reservoir.
The active ingredient, Fipronil, is then secreted with the natural oils of the skin and hair for several weeks making it the longest-lasting spot on flea treatment available without prescription.
Frontline Cat is available in 1, 3 or 6 pipette packs.
